XSitePro Sample Sites
My Sample XSitePro Sites
To date I have been playing around with different concepts for mini sites built with XSitePro. None is as yet complete. Nor have I decided the site concept that I will use going forward
At the moment all of my web site work is hobbyist. However, I am convinced that there is money to be made - many of you will be miles ahead of me on that. So pretty soon I hope to focus my attentions a bit more and get stuck into making a business out of my sites.
I have played around with quite a few site building tools.
My first ever site was built with Ken Evoy’s outstanding SiteBuildIt suite of web tools and comprehensive training manuals. For an absolute beginner there is simply nothing better than SiteBuildIt. It takes you by the hand and explains in common sense language how to build web site and make money on the internet.
You can read my comparison of SiteBuildIt to XSitePro by clicking on this ‘XSitePro or SiteBuildIt’ link or by clicking on the menu item to the left.
I have also dabbled with FrontPage and Dreamweaver. If you are looking for a top end web authoring package Dreamweaver is the tool for you.
But, back to XSitePro.
It’s easy to use, highly visual, and optimised for affiliate marketing. At the moment it is my clear choice for rapid web building.
My Sample XSitePro Sites
To be completely accurate,
MyPromHairStyle.com started as one of Dr Mani’s niche marketing web sites. To be frank, it simply didn’t work. When I bought XSitePro this was the site I chose to use to play with.
The whole of MyPromHairStyle.com is now built using XSitePro. It has become my sandpit. And it shows.
I use Duncan Carver’s Link Manager Assistant to generate relevant links to hundreds of other sites. I have also use Article Automator to produce a hundred articles or so. Unfortunately, I never quite figured out how to incorporate externally generated pages into XSitePro. Release 1.5 has fixed this for the article pages but I still have an issue with the php links pages.
ChoiceLiftChairs was my first foray into affiliate marketing. XSitePro enabled me to put the site up in a couple of evenings of work - much faster than any other tool I have ever tried.
I have since spent some time updating and (hopefully) improving the site. It has been pretty successful in getting email sign-ups. It is my own fault that I have not put the follow up autoresponder marketing messages in place.
Jules Verne - a childhood hero. Now, most of his work is available as free online downloads. This site was built using a pretty nifty text to html converter to create pretty reasonable looking web pages. Version 1.5 of XSitePro came along just in time. There is no doubt that the import of externally generated pages went much smoother with the enhanced functionality version 1.5 provides.
This very site. Nothing more than my thoughts going onto screen. The experiment here is not much to do with XSitePro and all to do with hosting a web site on a sub-domain.
Jkl.co.uk is a web site I host with Thirdsphere. Rather than register a new domain I thought I would see how things went with a sub-domain. So far no problems.
Choice Teak Furniture is a single page site. Not too surprisingly it is all about Teak Furniture. It is built after the Phil Wiley, “Mini Sites Secrets”, ‘Micro Site’ (if that is not too big a contradiction) model.
It is all pointed at a single affiliate partner. Wouldn’t you just know it, I complete the site and the affiliate partner is short on funds.
Not to worry. I just won’t promote it for a while.
And that’s it for now.
Nothing great here yet but lots of promise for the future. If you have any comments why not drop me a line. I promise a reply to all sensible comments and suggestions.
