XSitePro SEO Update
It’s been some time since my last blog update. I have created quite a few more XSiteWeb sites - I will post more on those in a later edit.
For now though, here’s a quick update on the XSitePro Experience and the SEO achievements on that site.
At the moment I have made sure that every page on the XSitePro Experience passes the inbuilt SEO tests. Each page also shows the first instance of the main keyword in bold early in the first sentence. On page optimisation is basic but pretty tight.
Off page optimisation is via what was once a reasonably active link swap process. As the number of spam link requests has grown I have stopped actively seeking links.
So, pretty average effort. What are the results? At the moment the XSitePro experience ranks 4th unique on google. It’s 3rd on Yahoo and 1st on MSN.
Not too shabby.
For more competitive keywords there is no doubt that a much more proactive approach to search engine positioning is essential.
